Ms. Sasha Belenkaya has more than 20 years of experience in international development. She has worked for businesses and nonprofit organizations in international health, supply chain management, food security, democracy and governance, and the rule of law sectors. Ms. Belenkaya’s geographic experience includes Europe and Eurasia, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. Ms. Belenkaya has managed contracts and grants funded by USAID, the U.S. Department of State, the U.K.’s Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office, World Bank, and private foundations. She has held many leadership roles focused on operations, process improvement, and financial management but is most passionate about ensuring project processes are programmatically and financially compliant and utilize organizational tools, resources, and systems to achieve results. Before her role at Connexi, Ms. Belenkaya designed and managed international health and supply chain management projects at Chemonics and Booz Allen Hamilton. She holds an M.A. in Slavic Studies from Florida State University and is certified as a change management practitioner from Georgetown University.
