    Jef Imans

    Strategic Advisor, Health Supply Chain/In-Country Logistics

    Jef Imans has more than 20 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, government relations and advocacy, and humanitarian interventions. He has held various senior management positions in Europe and Africa in the private and public sectors, including serving as country director in the Ivory Coast for the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief’s Supply Chain Management System. Mr. Imans led direct intervention programs, long-term post-conflict, and development projects, managing portfolios of up to $85 million for the U.K. Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (formerly DFID), USAID, and World Bank. He also served as the supply chain and logistics director for the Pooled Procurement Mechanism on behalf of the Global Fund. In his current role as strategic advisor for the health supply chain, Mr. Imans provides thought leadership and strategic input, supporting the product portfolio for in country procurement and logistics services and defining functional requirements for Connexi. He has a master’s in finance and business from Lessius Hogeschool Antwerpen in Antwerp, Belgium.
